nROK 1020 with dual core ATOM x5-E3930,1.8GHZ


The nROK-1020 is a fanless entry level railway PC  designed specifically for the harsh environments of on locomotive applications. The unit is a compact measuring only 185 x 120 x 45mm and utilises the low power Intel Apollo Lake 1.8GHz dual core Intel® Atom™ processor. 


Standard functionality includes a G-sensor, dedicated Ublox NEO-M8N GPS and TPM feature. Smart power management includes 9-36v input,  low voltage protection and ignition ON/OFF delay. Configurable options on request include 4G (Wake-on-SMS/RTC), dual band Wifi and Advanced GPS (dead reckoning). There are 2 x USB3.0, 5 x RS-232 and 2 x RS485 ports.


The unit carries CE, FCC and E-mark. Rail certifications include EN50155 class TX (24v) and EN45545-2



The device can be used for a range of applications such as condition monitoring, passenger information systems (PIS), automated fare collection and digital radio data / voice communications
